Uncorking for July

has been quite a while
since
Petit Soleil
featured
"wines of the month"
..
not that it wasn't
a
great
concept,
darn,
it is a
great
concept
...but
I got lazy.

dry
citrusy
and totally lovely
for a
summer's eve.

Monterey -
a cool growing region
perfectly suited for
Pinot Gris -
complex, rich
tropical flavors
is in Napa - nope, not local,
but
I really just love this
crisp
fresh grapefruity
Sauvignon Blanc.
